Top 3 Finish for Worcester Bowmen

Worcester Bowmen Shortlisted for “Serco Leisure Club of the Year” at the Archery GB Recognition Awards 2025

Worcester Bowmen is proud to announce that our club has been shortlisted for the “Serco Leisure Club of the Year” award as part of the Archery GB Recognition Awards 2025. Out of more than 750 clubs across the UK, we were selected as one of the top three finalists — a remarkable achievement that reflects the commitment, passion and teamwork that make our club what it is.

Although we didn’t take home the final award, securing a place in the top three is something every member should feel incredibly proud of. Being recognised at a national level highlights the strength of our community and the standard we continue to uphold, both on and off the shooting line.

This nomination is a testament to the hard work of all our volunteers, helpers and members, whose ongoing dedication keeps the club running smoothly, safely and happily. Worcester Bowmen thrives because so many people willingly give their time — whether coaching, organising events, maintaining equipment or simply supporting others at the line.

A special thank you goes to Gavin Fudge, whose commitment, organisation and leadership are at the heart of our success. Whether he’s keeping the club moving forward or keeping us on target during busy sessions, his efforts make a huge difference to every member.

Well done to everyone involved, and thank you for helping to make Worcester Bowmen the friendly, welcoming and passionate club we’re all so proud of. 🙌
